The company is run by 26-year-old Michael Holroyd. The company has been going almost 5 years and has gained plenty of experience during this time!

State of Sound Entertainment was established in Summer 2002, under the name PRL Disco Services, when it was run single headedly by Pete Littlewood. In the early days, all the equipment was second-hand from his uncle, without whom we probably wouldn't be operating our service today. In August 2005, Michael Holroyd joined the team, and then in Dec 2006 Pete decided he was going to have a rest for the DJ Scene. Michael has now taken over, where Pete left off, and will now run the Disco's with Pete's occasional help.

We are now pleased to announce that we have both Public Liability Insurance and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) for electrical safety. This can be proved by certificates we hold.

Having this insurance ensures that we are covered in the unfortunate event of a client having an accident at one of our events. The PAT testing makes sure that all our equipment is electrically safe. Most venues will ask for proof of these two items before they will allow to us to work on their premises.

SOS Entertainment can cater for all occasions, whether it is a wedding, kids party, Christmas bash or a New Year do, we can do it all! The crew can travel more or less anywhere, but places in the Yorkshire region are preferred, but We have no limits and are pretty flexible! Feel free to contact us.
