Sound in Motion was created by DJ Emily, to help clients find the right entertainment and provide a professional mobile disco service across the Isle of Man, Emily has a vast knowledge of music and was trained by her father Peter Tyler who has worked top DJ Midland entertainment circuits in the 70's and appeared as support act for radio DJ personalities such as Noel Edmunds, Stuart Henry, Paul Burnett and Radio Luxemburg's Rob Jones.

He has taught her the skills of working with the audience and filling the dance floor, a confident chatty DJ with the personality to go with it. Emily loves her music and like all the DJs at Sound in Motion, lives for her sounds, and is at her best when she is pleasing the crowd and has a full dance floor.

We specialise in all types of music from 60s 70s 80s and 90s to present day , give us a call we can tailor a music package just for your special event. Old School Disco Party, Rock & Sixties Night, Tamla Motown & Soul Night, 80s Pop Night, 70s Pop Night,70s Disco Party, 60s 70s 80s Party Night, New Years Eve and Solid Gold Flash Back Party Shows, just a few ideas of the Sound in Motion shows we put together. We can put a mixture of the above together in one great night of music.

Sound and Lighting We believe a mobile disco needs to have great sound and colour, to be able to create the right party atmosphere. The road-show can be set up to suit any venue large or small, our mobile discos have great sound quality and we use a mixture of effect lights, including Moonbeams, Scanners and state of the art LED effects, screens and stands to project a party atmosphere of sound and lighting, we use American DJ Mixers top of the range Warrior Amplifiers and a range off quality 300 Watt Warrior and Gemini speaker cabinets plus folded horn bass cabinets for a fuller sound! All the sound and lighting equipment used by our mobile discos is of the highest standard and well maintained. The amount of equipment used at your function will be determined by the package you choose and the space available for the DJ.

Music We have a vast amount of music and our DJ’s, are well experienced at filling the dance floors for all age groups. When you book our disco, just give us a list of any music you would like to hear, and we will do our very best to supply any requests you ask for, we will go out of our way to meet your needs, just ask. We specialise in all tastes of music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, to present day. Pop, Rock, Soul, Motown, Rythm and Blues, Chart, you name it and most likely we'll have it!
