At Starturn Entertainments we are committed in giving you the best disco & or karaoke service in the industry.

Most of our work comes from repeat business and word of mouth; we cover all areas of the north from the angel of the north right up Glasgow in Scotland. Our Djs have a wide range of skills and are happy to play to all tastes of music. From heavy rock classics to the latest chart and dance tunes we do it all.

We've met quite a lot of people that should be on the x factor with our karaoke services, we've also had our share of singers that-well they try but what can you say, at the end of the day its all about having fun and that's what you will get with our karaoke and disco services.

We are based in a little town in Stanley in County Durham, not Stanley in Crook which is in the other part of the county, its not far from Beamish museum, we do venues all across the region including Sunderland, Newcastle, Chester le Street and all outlying areas.

One of the funniest things in the past, there's a lot but I think this is up there, turned up to do a venue a few years ago and was booked to perform in a marquee as it was in the middle of summer, when we got there we were told that the marquee they had hired had blown away and I had another Dj with me-when he was told his reply was' what was it, a tent!

I can go on for hours with some more funny things that's happened over the years, indeed all our Djs have been DJing for over 10 years, with Starturn Entertainments you always have a professional Dj and a reliable service.

We are fully insured (PLI etc) and carry out checks on all our equipment before it leaves for a venue. We welcome resident work and have discounts available for them.
Discounts are also available for mid week bookings. We are taking bookings now for december2009 and 2010.

Starturn Entertainments will be starting new services in the coming months and catering services from October 2009, our new entertainment services from late to early October to include bands and singers and other performers.
