This musical entertainment business is all about having fun. Hugh loves playing and singing live and also enjoys teaching. By day he is a tutor of guitar and bass. He is always trying to persuade his students to sing as well as play, so for Hugh, setting up a karaoke business is a natural step.

Hugh loves singing and will usually start with a couple of songs until everyone has chosen what they are going to perform. Don't worry, he won't hog the mic. If your party is ready to sing right away, then He'll shut up and get on with selecting the tracks. Hugh still uses the CD&G format, which means the karaoke tracks are on disc rather than computer. This system is still more reliable because Hugh has a back-up machine in case of breakdown. If a dj only has a lap-top, the evening could be ruined if it crashes suddenly.

Hugh has a song list of many thousands of hits, with more added each month. Please contact me if you want to make a request as I can usually obtain a song with a bit of notice. If it's not available as a karaoke track, I'll play it on the guitar. I also have thousands of Disco tunes to play at the start or the end of our evening, though you would book me as a karaoke jockey (kj) rather than a Dj.
