DJ Steve started in the entertainment business in the 70's at the tender age of 16.
He has been involved in music entertainment for over 30 years although when he has his wig, gold jacket and platform boots on you would never believe it
He was a resident DJ, twice weekly spinning the discs (7' 45's in those days) to the youth of the day.

His DJ career continued for 3 years until he joined a function band on bass guitar.
During the first 4 years of playing with the band he continued to DJ but mainly as a guest DJ at various venues until he stopped DJing to concentrate on the band.
After a short 'settling in period' he also began singing with the band.

When the 'front man' and guitarist of the band left he also shared the fronting of the band. Since then he has run and fronted various bands, had a spell as Musical Director for theatre, presented 'This Is Your Life' style birthday parties, sung at karaoke parties (something he admitted whilst under the influence) and for the last 7 years has been co-presenting, singing and playing in a 60's/70's tribute band mainly playing festivals during the summer.

It was this band that stirred up his memories of his DJ years and prompted him to get his 'singles' out of the attic and start recording the original vinyl's onto the computer. After what seemed like a millennium (2000& singles) the job was done and it was time to design a retro looking disco consol but replacing the original turntables with computers.

With the job done you can relive those years but be warned if you want modern garage, grunge or what ever they call it Steve will not supply it.

For parties he will find the number ones on your birth date, starting school date, marriage date or any date you supply (even the first time .. date) and will incorporate that during the evening.

You can even have retro music competitions during the evening.
